create|curve|slice a solid in MCX

I can't seem to get a slice out of a solid part. It will only use a surface, line or arc. Is there a way to switch to pick a solid? I use these for my casting profile in stock setup. I like the create solid to 2D profile in X, but it is only giving the OD. I would prefer to use the 2D profile for my lathe work if possible.

Leif,

On the General Selection ribbon bar (the one with All and Only buttons) you should see a blue cube with a green check mark, when it comes to selecting what you want to place a slice on. That switches the system over to solid selection.

Hope that is what you are looking for.

That was exactly what I was missing! I need to stop & take a look around! Any ideas on the solid to 2D profile. It keeps on only doing the OD and not including the ID.
