Another X setup sheet question

I am using the Mill2.set. When I generate the sheet the program name comes

up "machine_group_1". It should output the name of the MC file. I have compared it to the mill2.set for version 9, and it appears the same. What am I missing here?

Same as with posts in that it uses the group name instead of the .mcx name. The thought behind it was so you could have multiple machines (setups) for one job and keep things straight.

Hi 5 AX,

 

Expand the Machine Group 1 Properties in the Operations Manager, select Files and rename the Group Name and/or the Toolpath (.nc) file name.

Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with the 'old way', Mastercam X is spankin' new to me. I am a SmartCAM v11 user who has just gotten X, so you can imagine my learning curve here. I wish I could help more.

 

From what I've seen and heard so far, the userbase in this forum is unbelievably awesome, so I'm sure someone will have that answer.
