I upgraded from master cam 9.1 to MasterCamX ver 10. I am having problems understanding the new GUI. Is there a video tutorial that walks you through the changes to the GUI or some other document. I need help!

In the Mastercam X folder in your Start Menu, there should be a subfolder called "Documentation". Within it is a shortcut to a video titled "Introducing Mastercam X Video" which gives a good overview of the new interface. The Transition Guide PDF is also helpful.

There is an introductory video included in the documentation folder of your X install. It is a basic overview.

 

There is also a .pdf documenting the V9 buttons and the associated X mouse clicks.

 

If after going over these things you are still feeling "lost" a class thru your reseller might be in order.

 

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

 

Seat time is the only cure for the biggest part of the learning curve with the new interface.

 

There is no shortcut.

 

Any questions about the hows and whys, ask away.

But only your time in front of the new look will help you move along.
