G55 (Silly Question)

From within MCX, how can you set it to post with G55 instead of G54?

go into planes in the tool path parameters >> planes button, to set the work offset

 

-1 is auto mode

0 is G54

1 is G55

2 is G56

3 is G57

4 is G58

5 is G59

 

There is a swtich in the MPmaster post you have on the misc int's page to that if you set it to one it will pick up and hold the first WCS it reads.

Depends on the post. But the norm is to set on the 'Planes..' button the 'Work offset' to 1.

 

0 would give you G54

1 for G55

and so on...
