laptop for X and Solidworks

I have seen a lot of recent buzz about laptops and I am also getting ready to purchase one to run mastercam V9.1 and X as well as Solidworks. I think I have decided on the one I want but figured I would run it by the forum first. Here is the link to the spec sheet. It is from a place called abspc. Any feedback would be appriciated, this is not a cheap investment and I want something that is going to perform. Thanks.

That notebook looks like it would be great for gaming, but...

 

For CAD/CAM, I recommend the Dell Precision M70 with the WXGA display.

Anything with a Quadro Card will be great. I recomend the M70 as well.

 

Nothing but troulbe with those gaming cards and laptops.

I use a HP NW8000 Mobile workstation it comes with a ATI Fire GL card designed for cad use.

1Gig ram, wxga screen, plus has a serial port.

Always have had a laptop to work with.

This is simular though to what I do use only a Pentium 4.

Athalon is my next laptop processor choice

Pick the quadra card and and the high res screen, Yehaaaa!
