Fanuc 6t cable

Hi all,

I know this is not really a mastercam question, but with all the experts here just thought I'd ask.

Anybody have any experience with wiring up an older fanuc 6t to a computer for program loading (not DNC). The cable that was on the machine (not working) had a different wiring pattern then I have ever seen. I thought a standard null modem cable should work. but no luck there. is there a diagram for a cable that is designed to work with a btr?

any help would be greatly appreaciated

Have you gotten cables from them before? Do they do service calls to do the hookups and configurating also? If so where is the home base located?

Hi Karl,

I have used the cables many time, I all so sell them.

It makes my life easy to be able to walk in to a shop and connect my computer right to the machine, some times when I am programming.

And all I have to do is put a new end piece for that particular machine.

If it’s a Fadal, Haas, Fanuc All types.

They are our Grizzly Cables.

We do service calls matters were you are.

When you talk with Greg just let him know were you got this info from.
