post outputs new wcs at every rotation????

When I rotate to A90 it is giving me a G55. I thought I new where to turn that off but I cannot find it. I program with the z 0.0 at the center of rotation I do not want a new wcs. I have got to be overlooking something???????

If you are using an MPMaster based post the is an miswitch to lock on the first WCS

If you don't have that option, go into your planes dialog box and change them from -1 to 0, you'll get all g54's then.

 

It will bark about the offset being used already but click OK and it will complete.

Set your work offset. You are leaving it as -1 which increments automatically. This is for ALL posts.

There must be a place to set it and not have to adjust it in every operation? Brett are you referring to the same thing John said? It is the same as when you move around your part in five axis, you do not get new wcs at every move?

Please don't confuse WCS with work offset.

 

Go into your veiw manager and set all the work offsets to a 0 for all G54 output.

 

Yes, it's tedious and repetitive. That's why we added the lock on WCS switch that John is talking about. See misc int 10.

Thanks, I understand now. How would i turn off the G54,s completely. I can then use an offset in my main program not in my sub.
