zip2go

I recently observed this after instelling the latest patch, when I click zip to go the only option that is selectable is config files. This makes for a fairly usless zip2go. I sent this along to qc but got no answer. I was wondering if anyone here has had the same problem?

Peter, By any chance did you check the boxes on the right and then click create Zip to go.

 

This works for me.

edmBosto, I have been using zip2 go from the onset, without problems. What I should have said was that the options on the right are unseletable except for config files.

Well, I'm confused now, I just tried it again and everything was fine. Last friday and earlier today(2pm) it was messed up?

Peter, Did you by any chance restart mastercam.

You know how that works and you restart it and sometimes what didn't work all of a sudden does.

You do have some toolpath operations in the Oper Mgr when you run Zip2Go?

If not, 'Config files' will b the only option available.

 

I just updated a system from X2 to X2-SP1 and Zip2Go appears to be working the same as it did before.

Thanks Roger, as it was a geometry/drafting problem both times and I had not made any toolpaths yet. Knowlege is a precious thing.

This is in the Help, but I have to admit that it's buried pretty deeply under the pop-up field definition for Config files.

 

I'll make sure that it's also noted right up front in the help topic for the Zip2Go main window.
