NCIFIX

Hello everyone,

working in x2 now and for the life of me I cannot remember how to fix the nci file names to match in my operation group to be the same so i don't get the post generating multiple programs. I use to just run ncifix.dll in 9. Please help me. this is a newly installed MC here where i work and i dont have access to the chook old or new ncifix file if that is still the way to do it.

Highlight all of your ops >> right click >> edit selected operations >> change nc file name

 

ALso for future reference, go into config >> toopath manager, there is a toolpath naming option that will make this problem go away when set up.

Flipper just follow what John stated and all will be good. as I am still not sure why you used the C-hook NCIFix instead of Change NCI destanation option in the ops manger.But most likley because no one showed you.

 

Are you at JPL in Pasadena working under Don S?

Fillper you will find in the X2add_ons on the FTP AI_Utility_X2_1_08_en.zip

 

also there is a tool for changing NCI in the X+_setup sheet tool.

Yes I did what John had stated and all is good work greta but still was wondering about the file that mario stated. Thats all
