Mastercam Editor/ communications

Has anyone out there had any problems with the communications configuration where you get a dialog box that says MCXcomm.Classes.Cmachineconfig.ReadMachineInfo

 

(input string was not in correct format)

 

and

 

MCXcomm.Classes.Cmachineconfig.ReadMachineInfo

 

(Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

 

Machine Configuration in editor will not work. I'm forced to use legecy communications or Cimco from version 9 (not a bad thing)

 

This is a new one for mastercam tech support and they could not replicate the issue.

 

The path in the registry (External Communication Exchange) is missing so I manually wrote the path "c:mcamxcommoneditorsmastercammachinesfanuc-16t

but it did not help. I've had issues since I installed X2

Hi any one can explain how to change the entity color on the screen in X2

nandeeswaran, right click on the color at bottom of screen to change an entity color,go to settings, configuration, colors,geometry colors,to set up a default color and save it.
