Subroutine Call

Is there any way to call a sub program at each of

numbers of points that are not in a consistant rectangular pattern? I thought that there may be a way to use the custom drill parameters some way? Specifically, I want to run a circular swept milling cycle at each of 190 different holes that I have already drilled, without having to manually add an M98Pnnnn to each line of my NC text.

Suppose I want to cut a square pocket at each of these points?

IMHO, just program them all.

I could give 2 sh*ts about subbing.

I don't like the idea of hand editing code to make it all work.

If I understand what you're looking to do, you are talking about A LOT of post work or a lot of hand editing.

You've done most of your programming on the floor previously, correct?

mtnflyer and JParis,

Thank you both for your responses. They got me to try using the custom drill cycle tab, to see what the NC file would look like. The NC file that resulted was a normal cycle to prepare to drill and then after each position line was a comment in parenthesis. It was easy to then replace all the comments in the editor with M98Pnnnn or whtever I wanted.

Thanks,

Bill
