Lathe Canned Drilling Cycles - Post Help

After a few years of hand coding canned drill cycles for my lathe, I decide to research into changing my post.

Through a forum search I added this to my post:

quote:

lpeck$ #Canned peck drill cycle, lathe

pdrlcommonb

pcan1, pbld, n, *sg81_f, prdrlout, pfzout, *peck1$, pffr, strcantext, e$

if initht <> refht, pbld, n, sg00, initht_z, e$

pcom_movea

This is my output:

quote:

(TOOL - 1 OFFSET - 1)

(5/16 DRILL)

( ROUGH DRILL THRU )

G0 T0101

G97 S855 M03

G0 G54 X0. Z.295

G83 R.145 Z-1.75 Q.1 F4.2442

G0 Z.295

Z6.

G28 U0. M05

T0100

M01

I need the Q value to read as Q1000

I am running Fanuc 21i control.

I know it is a format change, but I can't remember how to change a format to post with no decimal.

Also, with the lathe peck cycle is there a way for it to post without the Q value if I leave it at 0. It would be nice to give the operator the opportunity to add the peck if he feels necessary.

I read in the Fanuc book that if the Q value is absent it still drills with no peck.

Thanks for the help.
