Angular depth 2

Thanks Anubis for your help in figuring out how to cut a circular angle depth. Is there a way to control depth of cuts? Z0 to Z -.190 all in one cut will surely break the endmill.

Enter a positive number in the Top of Stock box (+.190) in this case. Checkmark Depth of Cut and enter amount of cut you want to take.

Program the contour from Z+.190 to Z0 and use depth cuts. Then change at point from the chain manager to change ramp final depths. Will cut some air this way however. To avoid air cutting you'll have to use surface paths. Trimming the air off will just create more air.

When they give me a project like this the first thing I think about is emastercam.
