save analyzed point data to file

I though there was a way to save analyze point,line, arc data to a text file in earlier MC versions....is this feature gone

i know you can use anylyze area/volume 2d area and save it as a text if that helps

You can analyze contour, window the points and then save the output. Or you can save the file as ASCII and the point location x,y,z will be in a text file

I remember using this....but you would not know

how to use it for its funtion name "analyze contour" to list points.
