Random Line Deletion

I am a fairly new user to Mastercam Draft 9. For some reason, at random times, as I move my cursor over some previously drawn lines it will delete them. If I haven't saved those features, they are gone. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have never seen this before. Are you, by any chance, holding down any other keys at the same time as moving the cursor? Have you tried hitting the escape key and refreshing/redrawing the screen to see if the lines are in actuality deleted?

I would hazard a guess that the line isn't really gone from the Database, but just no longer visible on the Screen.

 

Next time this happens, try...

 

Screen - Next menu - Regenerate - "Yes"

This will rebuild the Screen Display List.

 

Does your "lost" geometry now show up?

scrolling in and out with mouse wheel will also refresh the screen.

I just ran into that problem again and I did the whole regenerate thing and it worked. Thanks for the help. Any ideas why it does this? Is it something that can be fixed/stopped permanently?

Try setting graphics hardware acceleration one notch above off in windows control panel.
