4 axis wire problem

I'm getting this alarm while posting and then the machine (Fanuc a-oic)alarms (#20) but the file verifies correctly and looks good on backplot also.

 

Any Ideas?? Thanx

look in the misc. integers... there's something in there for converting 2 axis to 4 axis

There is a "1" in misc #1 and a "1" in misc #3, the rest are zeroes

the 020 alarm means there is an I and J or x and y error in your program. if you have and arc in there bigger than 180 degrees, then break it and regen and see what happens

If this is a fanuc post (default), misc integer 10 is the conversion... however you mentioned only misc integer 1 and 3 are active .. so I am not sure

 

What post are you using / machine ?

oops.. that you were talking alarm message in Mastercam.. Del is correct... or try to break the arcs in the control definition

The machine alarm was because it posted out 4 decimals on the G92 line and the G3 line it had 5 place decimals

 

G92 X1.2134

 

G3 X1.21336

cparish, i have never been able to get that to work in x2, i have always had to manually break them to get them to post out right. could just be something isnt right. i never had to do that in v9

that can definately cause an issue

Breaking the arcs did away with the MCAM error, but the machine error is still happening
