Using Canned Text

I need to use Canned Text to output the M-codes for part catcher extend and retract. It works on the Daewoo 200MS post, but not the Daewoo Lynx post. The 200MS post is relatively new. Downloaded about 2-1/2 years ago. The Lynx post if from at least v9, probably even an earlier version.

 

I've sent an email to our reseller, but thought I would also ask here. What has to be added/modified to allow the use of Canned Text? Or is it something in the Machine Definition? Hadn't thought to look there until this moment.

Hi, canned text is done through the control definition. If you've already got a machine def and control def set up for the post, go to the Control Definition Manager > Text > Canned Text page to create/edit canned text.
