File Sizes

I was wondering how some people are handling the storage of thier files. I have notived in the past year since i've been high speed machining my network drive has 7 Gig used up. I can't imagine what this will mean 10 years from know! We are not a small company but are not that large either. I'm considering changing a parameter in the sequence so that the toolpaths will require updating then saving it like that (unupdated). Does you people have any other solutions? (CD-R , Tape, Zip Drive??)

Thanx

We use CD-R for backup.

If I had lots of large files to deal with, I'd save them without the toolpath in them. This requires a regen if you need to post it again, but it saves a TON of space.
