dxf ->mastercam->cncmill

hello all, i am a teacher in pa looking for some help.I am trying to transfer autocad 2005 files to mastercam and then make the parts with our cnc mill. I have saved the drawings in dxf format and opened them with mastercam, once i get to this part i am lost. How do I get the toolpath and parameters set up in mastercam to then send to the cnc mill. I am just a rookie so any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Josh,

check with the local MC dealer, they can probbly put you into a Basic MC class for little to no money. I quite often visit our local Educational Institutions and help and show them what ever I can.

There are also Multimedia Video Training CD's available. These will go thru a step by step approach to completing a part. It also cover the detailed description of the parameter pages. A number of schools have used these.
