Rotating using VBscript

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

First of all, a big thanks to Mick George for all the wisdom. He has saved me a ton of mouse clicks and time.

I have iges files created in Pro that I bring into MasterCam. Many of my files are orientated in a manner where I have to do a few rotations from different views to get what I need. I have been running the partial script below. My question is there any way to input a number in the script of the amount of degrees I need to rotate? After the ("xfmrot"), I typically have to mouse click: All, entities, done, origin, (type 90), done, main menu for every rotation.

Just trying to make things quicker.

ShowString " Preparing Part "

bRet =RunMastercamCommand("cpfrnt")

bRet =RunMastercamCommand("xfmrot")

bRet =RunMastercamCommand("cptop")

bRet =RunMastercamCommand("xfmrot")

bRet =RunMastercamCommand("fit")

bRet =RunMastercamCommand("clrcolrs")

Thanks in Advance,

Scot
