Shading on/off

Is there a way to know if the shading is active ?.

 

I found a function named gl_fulltime_toggle() that if shading is on turns it off and viceversa.

But I could not found any function to know if shading is on or off.

I've tryed the variable gl_dynamic_shade with no success (it is always TRUE).

I'm using SDK mr1.

gl_dynamic_shade probably isn't the right variable. There seems to be a hidden variable gl_shading_on that does work.

 

try adding

 extern DllImpExp MC_BOOL gl_shading_on;  

---

to your code and check against it.

Hey guys. Through a search I found this. It seems like enricgi was trying to find a function to return if shading was on or not, is that right?

 

I just want to turn shading on every time I run a certain chook. I found something in CoreDefs_CH.h, a define: "MCEVENT_SHADING_ON". But that doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for either. And I'm not sure where I could use it, (which function).

 

Finally, what seemed to be closest to what I want, I found "set_gl_shading()" in CGui_ch.h. Unfortunately I don't see any arguments for it in the SDK. Does anyone know how to make use of this function to turn shading on?
