Convert MC7 files to MC9

We have about 10000 MC7 files, That we need to get up to MC'X'.

Since MC'X' will not read the Ver 7 files and MC9 will read the Ver 7 files.

 

I would like to know if anyone has a Batch converter ,VB script, C hook, or anything else that can help us do this file conversion.

 

From Ver. 7 to 9 or 7 to X would be great.

I see on the forum FTP site, in the /VB_Scripts/ folder there is a GE3_2_MC9.ZIP that contains a GE3_2_MC9.VBS written by Chris Bellini (formerly of In-House Solutions).

Maybe that will be useful?

I would assume that you can just change this define in the VBS ->

Const DEF_GE3_EXT = "GE3"

to

Const DEF_GE3_EXT = "MC7"
