Dropdown menu in toolbar

Hi,

I am srinivas, working on mastercam customization. I face a problem creating a dropdown menu in mastercam toolbar. Is it possible to create a dropdown menu in toolbar through Mastercam API.

 

Please send a suggestion regarding this problem.

Actually my question is not on the creation of the Menu. It is on the creating the Toolbar and specifically in ToolBar i want to create dropdown menu. and suggest me is there any other method other than including .FT file in C-Hook Folder For creating ToolBar in the MasterCam.

No, there not is another way.

 

To be able to place a function (command) on a toolbar or assign a command to a keystroke, that command must be "registered" in the Mastercam's "master" FT (Function Table). To do that your added 'user-commands' must have a FT file that tells Mastercam to include them into the system's Function Table of commands.

This does not "create" a toolbar, it just allows for the user to create a toolbar and/or map the command to a keystroke.

 

There is not a way to "programically" create a toolbar. You make the command(s) available via your add-on (CHook or NETHook) with its FT file and it is up to the user to create the toolbar or keymap.
