NetHook 2.0 questions

Hello,

 

i need something like a setup sheet for our software. now i use nethook, and i get a lot of data, but not all data. i need more information from the operations i.e. f allowance(aufmass), z-delivery(tiefenzustellung), coolant...

 

the operations included in nethook are not much.

i.e. the HST operations are not aviable

 

i use NetHook 2.0 with VisualStudio 2008

 

must i take chook or nethook 1.0? Or how can i do this?

Gunther Massimo (a german reseller) has created a free Chook called "X+" that will give you a user configurable setup sheet in HTML or Excel output. It works great and you can customize it with a template.

i know this, but i need to get the data directliy from Mastercam. Also i want to save Tools to Mastercam, and so on.

So i cannot use the X+.

If you are looking to dig "deep" into all the parameters of an operation, the way it must be done is -> CHook

Similar 'idea', but different implementation (and capabilities)...

There are (some) things that you can do with a Chook that you cannot do with a NETHook.

 

'NET'Hook created using a .NET language; (C#, C++, VB).

'C'Hook is created using only the C++ language and MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes).

 

You can create NETHook or CHook using Visual Studio 2005 or 2008.

But you cannnot create a CHook using one of the VS 'Express' versions, as they don't include the MFC capability - which is required for CHooks.

And to do CHooks you need to obtain the CHook SDK.

Your Mastercam Dealer can get it for you (approx 23meg).

i did a setupsheet with nethook for a while, it's also not finish but maybe you can use it.

Takashi was so kind to write me a dll called MChook.dll with some missing thinks in nethook.
