I was able to detect and move surfaces to level 2 using our .NET API, I am not sure if I can with VBScript but I will take a look.

code:

                //Check for any surfaces in the current drawing

if (Mastercam.Support.SearchManager.IsAnySurfaceGeometry())

{

//Set up a mask to only return surfaces

GeometryMask newMask = new GeometryMask(false, false, false, false, false, true, false);

//Apply the mask

Mastercam.Database.Geometry[] allSurfaces = SearchManager.GetGeometry(newMask);

//iterate the result

foreach (Mastercam.Database.Geometry surface in allSurfaces)

{

//Is this surface already on level 2?

if (surface.Level != 2)

{

//Set the new level number

surface.Level = 2;

//Commit the change to the databsse

surface.Commit();

}

}

}

You can right click on the levels dialog and select to open a saved levels file.

Are you looking for a toolbar button that you click and have the CSV file automatically read and the levels set with no file browsing or any other user interaction? If so where is the CSV file located assuming it is in a fixed location like a networked path?
