Renumber Levels with vbs

Hey Gang,

 

Can the "Renumber level" option from right-clicking in the level manager be called from a vbs?

 

I want to move ranges of levels, with the new levels retaining the level name & level set. I know there's a vbs that moves entities but it doesn't assign the level name/set to the new level and it doesn't delete the old level.

The Renumber Level action in the Level Manager requires user interaction.

 

I checks against not-allowable actions such as ->

 

"Cannot renumber level 2 to level 1.

Please choose a level that does not exist."

 

If a valid new level number is input, what happens is you scan thru all of the entities in the database looking for items that live on the "old" level and and update the level number associated with the (entity) item to the "new" number.

 

So, no there is no VBS - "Renumber Level" command.
