Indexing workpeice on table

Does anyone know of an easy and accurate way of indexing a workpeice that is larger than the table? I often have Countertops that are larger than my table and wondered if there was a way that I could cut part of it and move it on the table, Than finish cutting the rest of it. Can this be done or is this too much to ask of the Machine. The table is 60"W X 120" L

use dowel pins.

We have a couple of our routers with pop up

pins used to locate to the corners for

production runs. Check with your router guys to

see if they offer them for your machines.

We often drill 2 holes in discreet places on the part then shift it aligned with those holes.

I agree with Peter and SanDiego, use dowels for indexing the shift point if you can. I would also use an Arc-In to continue the cut to hide any subtle misalignment.
