Each part is a copy of the original - it is not 'sub-programmed'. Plus, they could be in different orientation.

 

If you want multiple copies, in a grid pattern and no change in orientation, you can do that with a 'transform toolpath'.

 

I left out some vital information; There were excessive x and y lines for straight line tool paths and no arc moves.

The problem was the operation defaults file was incorrect. I'm using x5.
