Hi Guy's

How does's the PROG / Restart work ?

I can start at a tool callout fine, but if I have 3 long sections of surfacing path's

And just want to start on "That line of code"

After I pulled the tool out of the magazine through MDI,

Put it back in , typed in the new Z offset.

Hit cycle start and it takes off with out pulling the tool out of the Magazine?

I must be missing something?

(The Mighty Hurco's pull all the code's prior)

Last but not least..

Sometime's I want the pallet to rotate CCW because of clearence issue's

"M15 B270" is supposed to do this but it Doesn't work (So far)?

We tried it on it's own line.

With a G90 in front of it.

A *.* in front of it....j/k

Thanks for even reading this thread!

Tony

Not sure about your first issue, we've always started at the beginning of the tool so I am not sure how you would start in the middle of the toolpath.

But for your second issue have you tried using signed moves? Like B-270.? I know in some machines a positive number will rotate the pallet one way while a negative number will cause it to rotate the opposite direction. I'm pretty sure we have tested this in our Makino's and it works, test it in MDI to be sure though.

to get the table to go the opposite direction to B270 use B-90. and to turn the opposite way to B90 use B-270. A quick way to restart is a a N# to the line you want to restart at. Start the Tool at the beginning in single block till your length offset is called. Go into edit jump to that N# you just added go back to auto hit start. (Put the N# on a safety retract though to avoid crashes though)
