tool length in program?

i am using the mpmaster post, and i would like it to post the tool lengths along with the diameter ect. is there any to do this?

oa_len is the variable your looking for, put it into the ptooltable postblock.

ok, i tried a few different things with this, i hate to sound like i know nothing about the posts, but what i do know is very little. could you be a little more specific please?

Open your post in notepad, then search for this section....

change the last line shown so it looks like this....

That should get you going, then play around with it until you get what you want.

I didn't find "oa_len" parameter in MP_documentation.pdf. How did you know about it? Where did you find it? Maybe there is more comprehensive documentation we don't now about? Where can we read about these extra parameters?

I don't think its a predefined variable, but the Mpmaster defines it in a format table for parameter 20007 (i think).
