Fanuc 31i on Robo Drill

Recommended Posts

Guest CNC Apps Guy 1

Pages 232~236 in the FANUC RoboDrill Operator's Manual (Volume 1 of 2) for just the load monitoring covers it pretty well.

Basically to use it in a program you have to have it active during cutting... M41 (AI-TOOL MONITOR ON) and M40 (AI-TOOL MONITOR OFF), but you have to have the data in there and you can't leave it on all the time just like AI-NANO. You can't tap with it acitve.

GIve it a look. If you need some more info, call your local RoboDrill dealer and they can probably walk you through setting it up. It's not quite as easy as Nakamura's but it's not as complicated as others either.
