PCI Graphics Card

We purchased a PCI Quadro 4 200 NVS graphics card to use with version 8.11 and was wondering if anyone else is using a PCI card. The computer we have does not have an AGP slot so we have to us PCI. Right now we are seeing some issues when back plotting. We get a lot of garbage on the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [email protected]

For starters, have you downloaded the latest WHQL-certified Detonators

My advice is to get a new computer with an AGP slot. The bus speed of pci is too slow for graphic intensive applications. Running pci graphics can also play havoc whith anything else you have in your pci slots, eg. network card, as the graphics card uses all of the available bandwith and leaves nothing for other cards.
