Cyclematic Peck Drill Cycle

Hi,

I am working on porting a Cobra lathe (21-T FAUNC) post to a new Cyclematic CNC lathe that we have. The post is now working with the new lathe however it outputs a peck drilling cycle as a series of z-feeds rather than using the G74 canned cycle. While this works it means a much longer and harder to check NC file. I have made minor modifications to posts in the past but nothing major.

I found that the usecanpeck$ parameter was set to '0' for the lathe and so I modified this to '1' in order to use the canned cycle function in the post. The first thing I have attempted is to simply output text at the proper place in the NC file (where the G74 should be) from lpeck$. However my lpeck$ code is being executed before the lsof$ command. So my comment is at the beginning of my NC file (before the '%'). I cannot figure out why.

Does anyone know what would trigger lpeck$ to be called before lsof$?

Thanks,

Brock
