Hi I'm new to cnc lathe I'm having problems with boring and grooving. Ill make my path and after the finish path the tool rapids through my part at an angle on its way to home for the next tool change how do i make it come out of the part without the angle?

Thanks for your time.

Reference Points are the only way to go; don't rely solely on stock definition for this. Many before you have paid a loud price for this decision

Chain your bore (still in chain mode) *chain, *point, pick a point somewhere in the front of the bore and the tool executes the point before its next command. :D

Jest saying.... :D
