Complete/Clean Mastercam Uninstall

Good morning,

 

I'm looking for a way to do a complete/clean uninstall of Mastercam. If something goes wrong in the install, you may need to reinstall. Not a huge deal, but problems arise when you reinstall on a system that already has files/registry keys from a previous install. Are there any command-line arguments or settings for the Mastercam uninstaller that will completely remove every trace of Mastercam when it uninstalls? Registry keys, shared files, and my mcamx are all left over, but you should at least have the option to remove these. Does that option exist and I just don't know about it?

 

Any suggestions would be great.

This post will probably get moved to the appropriate forum .... per my VAR, I was told to do the following :

when uninstalling for fresh x5 (x4, etc) install, also remove existing mastercam and User folders, then delete registry key

HKey\Local machine\Software\CNC Software

I would say this is appropriate a forum enough

 

What dave is asking for is an automatic way to do this, if that is already built into the installer, only needing to be invoked through command-line arguments

 

I am not sure of any - failing that, he will create a utility
