Renishaw MP-7 Optical Probe

The question I have is, will the probe programs from a Makino MCB1210 with a Pro 3 Control work on A Kuraki KBM-11A with a Fanuc 16m control? From my understanding, the Pro 3 is just a Fanuc 16m with the Makino interface.. Am I correct on that? There was a probe on the Kuraki at one time but some genius decided to cut the wires and remove all the hardware for the probe system. We got the probe and all the required hardware installed back in the machine. Now just need to install the macros and programs to get the probe measuring. TIA

Call Renishaw; in my experience they have been very helpful. Even if you have to buy "Inspection Plus" or whatever they call it for your Makino, I remember the pricing wasn't bad.

I Already have the Inspection plus on my makino, we are trying to use the same setup and programs on our Kuraki horizontal. We had a guy that was supossed to get it up and going but he got frustrated with trying to get the Omm to read the old MP3 probe and left... didnt finish the job, so i reran the wires and moved the OMM for a better vantage point, then put the MP7 probe in and got it to do a bore check. We are going to call renishaw
