Here, I made my first animated Avatar.

 

Rekd spent his Lonely Working Weekend showed me how to make an animated icon with what kind software.

 

Dave Thomson gave me the tips about how to make the background transparent.

Learning is fun. I think I am a good student.

 

It is more fun making little movies. I will design a better one later.

I like the transparent background; is it possible to do that with a still? I'd like to get rid of my seizure-inducing white background

Yes, it's possible. I don't think paint will do it, but paint shop pro, photoshop, any of the 'big names' will. Some off brands of editor might as well, you can search the net for one.

Yes, but only the GIF format supports alpha transparency. Something to keep in mind.
