Hi there this is richard im finally getting up to speed with x and away from v9

I think it was a mistake to spend last yr buying v9 books and all the training when its been sunsetted

But I did get alot of tool path and parameter experience

I only did it because my job had v8 when I should have been getting in the new stuff

Anyways im here when I get back to my skill level with the current system I want to take advanced lessons

Currently at my best I can created parts with radial surfaces and do surfacing paths witch is about as far as the books go

My first atempt at this was asking jay where do I start to get into drawing 5 axis stuff

Bit heads impellers etc and it was above my level

So to go next level above the 4th axis stuff am I going to need a class or wat?

Looking at whats available im thinking its best to get dvd tutorials and books

I can always refer to them whenever and if internet is out or I cant pay

I wont have to worry about not being able to access an online subscription

And with my hrs a classroom is next to impossible

Gonna be hitting it hard this yr i have been denied jobs because everyone has the current version and all knew was v9

Again my fault for going with an obsolete version but I did learn alot that still applies
