Need some advice

I was wondering how some of you might go about machining this part? I have MCX6 mill and lathe level 1 for both. The machine we would be doing it on would be a mori NL-3000Y 7.5 hp live tool spindle with Y axis. I have it partially drawn up so I attached the file. The material is mild steel part is 14.0" dia.

I'll give this one a shot soon. how much Y travel do you have? ran a NL2000sy that had 4" at least that I assume?

It has +-2.4" but it is a wedge design so im guessing at that dia. I might only have +-1.9"

the problem isn't the bowl. its the tabs (i'm sure you know) I don't think you can surface with level 1. seems like you would have to surface the tabs. with a Z axis endmill. When I get a chance I can see what I come up with.

Yea I was going to turn the spherical dome and angle on the lathe and then run a 3/4" endmill around the front to create the tabs. I was curious if you guys had any better "faster" methods because surfacing with endmills is out of my relm. I am used to rotating c axis to punch holes and thats it for the most part. Thank you for taking a look at it
