okuma lu-25 tailstock

We have a Okuma impact lu-25 with an osp7000l control on it. I am not familiar with osp controls and we are trying to get the tail stock to work. We have limited books because I believe the company bought this machine used a little while back. The only thing we have been able to get it to do is advance and retract with manual entry of "M" codes. It looks to me like the tailstock is tow along but may also be programmable. Does anyone have any suggestions of things we could try out?

I think we got it figured out. It engages manually into the upper turret and you tow it along and have to manually bolt it down. This is probably why we never used it.

Steve, looks like you figured out it is a manual tow-along on that machine already. If it was a auto tow-along you would have a panel on the machine for clamping it IIRC. Would you like pdf's of the machine manuals?
