Parallel Scallop Cut in X6

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to create a parallel cut (5-axis) toolpath with equidistant spacing no matter the surface angle? I'm using X6.

If you can picture it, I am basically trying to get parallel arcs across a hemisphere that have equidistant contours between them. I've been playing around a lot, but I can only get constant shifts in one axis. I would think that if there were an option for "constant cusp" then it would probably work to bring the spacings correctly.

Thanks!

There's a constant cusp under multiaxis > Surface > Triangular Mesh. This however will waterfall . If you're doint a hemisphere it works great ( and on STL files) but if you're doing a globe forget about it

Best way I've found in that case is do a morph between two curves, or parallel to multiple curves under wireframe, and then make wireframe curves, one at the top of your part (at least smaller than your tool radius) and one at the bottom of the part.
