[SOLVED]File Association

Hi!

I'm pretty new in this forum.

I've installed on a domain computer the new mastercam X7 deleting the old X6, i've installed it in the directory C:\Program Files\mcamx7\ giving to the users the modify permission on that folder.

The software works fine so now the x7 automatically open the mcx-7 files on double click.

I've got some mcx-6 files, i want to do the same thing but now i've got some problems; let me explain:

I select the file, RMB, open with.. no mastercam software in the list... I click on browse, went to C:\Program Files\mcamx7\ and finally select Mastercam.exe, I click ok and... nothing, in the list of software Mastercam remain missing.

It's strange... if i use pc administrator account, doing the same process, in the list of software mastercam appears, so i could associate mcx-6 file with mastecam x7 and open the file with a double click.

It's more than strange.. with previous mastercam file extension like mcx-5 there is no association but double click works fine.

I know that somebody modify something in Windows registry but it's the last chance.. is there anothe solution?
