Mastercam Class

Hello All,

 

I am preparing to teach  a beginning Mastercam class.   This class will run three hours twice a week for 24 sessions.

Like most, I have never taken a formal Mastercam class, so I am trying to decide how far I should be prepared to go?

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Well, cover design, Wire,basic solids the interface those types and on the tool paths with that time I would be 2d basics and the HST and Dynamic paths . Planes some axis sub and toomb stone programming and so on.

give them a few projects to draw and program. Are you going to do any Lathe.

I wasn't planning on any lathe programming.  I am putting a lot of projects together.   I just want to have more material ready than they can possibly finish, and I'll let their progress drive how far 

we go.

I've taken the MastercamU courses and they were well laid out. It might be a benefit to you, for the $250 it costs to purchase a course and get some idea's from how they've structured it. Some stuff is good, others not so much but it's a great starting point to teach people.
