help on surface finish machining

Hey there

 

Can someone suggest me what surface finish strategy is good for attached part?

 

1- Rough : pocket (attached picture)

2- Rest mill

3- Finish : countor for wall

4- Fnish : Parallel

5- Finish for head of bottle

 

OR

 

1- Rough : pocket (attached picture)

2- Rest mill

3- Finish : Scallope

4- Finish for head of bottle

Scallop machined starting from the outside of cut area (uncheck 'expand from inside to out") is your best approach, imo.   And climb mill (ccw in this instance) will give you the best finish.  I would create a boundary just for the neck area and treat that area by itself with smaller tools.
