HATCHING AS CORRUPTED ENTITIES

Whenever I get a saved file that has hatching in it, I get a "WARNING, corrupted entries were not brought in" message.

I finally figured out it was the hatching that was corrupted.

I tried hatching a simple rectangle anding saving it. When I brought it back in, the same message appeared.

I tried the same thing with a single circle, and got the same result.

Is this a bug with v8.1?

Yes, unfortunately that is a bug in V8.1. MC8 files saved in V8.1 that contain CrossHatch entities will most likely result in 'Corrupt entity' error messages during File/Get. This is a bug. Sorry about that.

Use the link mentioned in the previous post, or visit www.mastercam.com and choose 'Support' and then 'Free Downloads', to download the FIXHATCH C-Hook, which is to be used instead of File/Get when bringing in these files.
