need help with sending data to tosnu777

Can any one give me the run down on sending data to tosnuc777 from mastercam 9.1. Mastercam is sending but machine is not reciving. cable is set up allright useing com port1 out of computer & port 0(portA)on machine geting no errors after cycle start

but no transefer?????

I'm not familiar with this machine,but have you ever been able to recieve a program to this machine?

Are you using the cimco software to send program?

The cimco is very good.

It sounds like you are using mastercam to transfer.

yes i am useing mastercam to send the progam.

should i be useing some other progam to send it procom or something else. have not been able to get to send or recive

This control same as fanuc

so check your setup in your computer & tosnuc control should be same

If it doen't work check your cable

Your mastercam 9.1 has cimco edit installed on it.

This is what I would use over the mastercam communicator.

I have had good success with it.

I'm not sure how much you know about this(and I'm not a guru)but your settings in your machine(parameters) need to match the setings in the communicating software.

As stated,could be cable issue.

We have a old machine so some stuff is not the same as the newer tosnuc 777. we have a BTD11-B when i call for help at the factory i have a hard time talking to them about are machine with this old control (retofit)
