Post Error Box for Comp Type

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have some simple code to share to have an error box show up during post processing in the event that CONTROL comp is selected?  We never use control comp here and we just messed up a mold plate because someone had control comp set with no offset in the control.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't worked it out but should be fairly straight forward...

Set up a string for the error message

scompwarn   : "WARNING - CONTROL CUTTER COMP APPLIED, POST WILL EXIT, CHECK PATH AND REPOST"

in the PCCDIA section

if scomp_type = 1, result = mprint(scompwarn)

n$, pbld, exitpost$, e$

Posting will display the message if Control is used, then exit the post on the toolpath in error, easy to find it
