editing engraving toolpaths

We've been using wire-frame/letters to define our engraving geometry. This works well enough to get the job done. However, if I want to edit the engraving text down the road I have to start over. This is not very efficient.  Is there another way to accomplish this that I may not be aware of?

Not really, no.....

When you're using contour to do engraving, it's just geometry, like anything else you cut.....you  have to edit the geometry to change it....

This is where a macro could save time
