NPT Thread milling

I have searched the forum for some advice but did not see anything relating to the issue i am having. I have a plastic part that i need to cut a 3/4-14 NPT. I used the c-hook thelix to create my tapered spiral and that looks good. I have a solid carbide 4 flute single point cutter to use for the thread. When i apply toolpath to the geometry the tool makes one 360° rotation and stops. The tool does not follow the geometry all the way up the spiral. Anyone got any suggestions ? Using V8.1

Good Day,

In a true Thread mill...

As the tool goes up from the bottom,

8 arcs are usually used per turn, every arc

has a different arc center.

I believe thelix uses straight line moves,

or can it output arcs?? I thought thelix

was prompt driven...I believe if you use

geometry, it is considered a 3D toolpath
