wireframe geometry going to wrong level

When I try to make wireframe in mastercam it goes to the wrong level, I have the level I want selected but it still goes to a different one. I can move it to the correct level after its drawn, but the problem is that it wont go to that level when I draw it.

Sounds like the Entity Attributes Manager.
Open the Attributes Manager and check the active settings.
You don’t say which version of Mastercam you’re using, so how that’s done can differ.
